Professional Bio: As a Navy Retiree with a rich history of service and dedication, I bring a unique blend of leadership, resilience, and empathy to my therapeutic space. My journey, both personal and professional, has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families, particularly within military and blended family dynamics. I am a proud mother of five in a beautifully blended family, and I have been happily married for 15 years. My personal experiences have given me invaluable insights into the complexities of family life, marriage, and parenting. These experiences fuel my passion for helping others navigate their own journeys. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), two highly effective therapeutic approaches. EFT focuses on improving emotional connection and communication within relationships, while EMDR is a powerful tool for processing and healing trauma. My training in these modalities allows me to provide comprehensive and tailored support to my clients. I am a proud graduate of Regent University, where I honed my skills and deepened my knowledge in the field of therapy. My education, combined with my extensive life experiences, enables me to offer a compassionate, understanding, and effective therapeutic approach. I am dedicated to serving:
•	Married Couples: Helping partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their emotional bonds.
•	Families: Supporting families in navigating the complexities of relationships, parenting, and family dynamics.
•	Military Communities: Providing specialized care for military families who face unique challenges, including deployments, relocations, and the stresses of military life.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and holistic, focusing on the unique needs and goals of each individual and family. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives. Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. My combination of personal experience, professional training, and a genuine passion for helping others makes me uniquely qualified to support you and your family. Whether you are seeking to enhance your marriage, improve family relationships, or address the specific challenges of military life, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.
